  1. Let Me In
    Viewed: 19th January
    Director: Matt Reeves
Main stars: Kodi Smit-Mcphee, Chloe Grace Mortez, Richard Jenkins
    Year of production: 2010
Summery: Owen, a boy severly bullied at school befirends Abby who only appears to come out at night. The film is set in 1983 and follows how Owen gradualy starts to build up his confidence which brings him to ask Abby to be his girlfriend, and eventually sticks up to the bullies.
My thoughts: I intially thought that this film wouldn't stand a chance against the original 'Let the right one in' but as it turns out there really isn't much change to the film execept the names and language. One scene near the start where Owen is playing with a rubix cube there are certain shots where you see a high angle of Owen and a low angle of Abby which shows even though we don't know exactally what she is we know that she is powerful.
